Poetic Landscapes
When I look at a landscape, I see poetry. A sunbeam on a rosebush against an old weathered barn, a boat that happily floats on the waves of a river ... or a dead tree, which with its spread branches watches over a moorland like a statue of a saint. Wonder and admiration, melancholy and reality, seriousness and humor alternate in my photographic landscape art. I like to keep everything as natural as possible. When photographing I make use of the available light and I search until I 'feel' the right composition. Back in the studio I develop the raw photos into artistic photo images. To which several layers of colors and textures have been added to create special depth.
My Poetic Landscapes can be found in the shop as a fine-art print, printed on museum quality paper. In the shop you will also find luxurious interior cushions and (outdoor) bags, printed with images from the Poetic Landscapes.
